Welcome! Come along to a meeting!
Club & Location
Operating from the scenic Aldinga Aerodrome located on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, the friendly Aldinga Aero Club would like to invite anyone with an interest in aviation to visit our club.
We hold a flying event on the first Sunday of every month, usually in the form of a simple competition to add interest and improve piloting skills. Events kick off on competition days about 10.30am, when pilots are briefed on the rules/requirements for the day’s flight, and the bbq starts about midday, generally when pilots and crew have returned.
Although official entry in the competitions is only available to Club members, additional seats can be filled on an “as is” basis. Additional events of an aviation nature are held throughout the year.
Our club house provides a very comfortable venue for meetings, and also houses a library of aviation books and videos available for loan at a very small cost. Whether you’re a complete novice or a highly experienced pilot, all you need is an interest in aviation and you’ll be more than welcome at The Aldinga Aero Club.
The Aldinga Aero Club proudly supports Angel Flight, a community service where non-medial emergencies and immediate family members/carers are transported at no expense by volunteer pilots and their aircraft. The club holds events for Fun Flight and other community groups regularly.
